WE ARE A CHURCH OF LOVE WITHOUT LIMITS

“Wherever you’ve been, whoever you’ve become, wherever you’re going, you’re welcome here at Church on the Hill.

Welcome to Boca Raton’s Open & Affirming Church Community!

Church on the Hill is an Open and Affirming congregation in the United Church of Christ. At our church, we believe that all people are created in the image of God and deserve to be treated with love, respect, and acceptance. We are an open and affirming community, meaning we welcome and celebrate people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and racial and cultural backgrounds, whether you are new to faith or a lifelong follower of Jesus. We believe that faith is not about having all the answers, but about asking questions, seeking truth, and being open to the movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings for worship and fellowship, and to participate in church life. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to support you on your faith journey. We look forward to getting to know you and walking alongside you as we seek to follow Jesus together.

This is a rare faith community that is welcoming, non-imposing, and non-judgmental. I’m so grateful to have a church like this in South Florida.

Jesus Did Not Reject. . .

Jesus was a radical figure who consistently challenged the societal norms and prejudices of his time. Throughout his ministry, he reached out to and welcomed people who were marginalized and excluded by their communities, including women, people with disabilities, and those from different cultural and religious backgrounds.

Neither Do We!

At our open and affirming church, we strive to follow Jesus's example by welcoming and loving all people, just as he did. We believe that the love of Jesus is for everyone, and we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where all people can experience the love and acceptance of God.

A Place for Community

Events

The Girl Scout Troop meeting at COTH cleaned up the grounds. We believe that church is not just a place to come and sit on Sundays, but a community where we can grow and connect with others as we follow Jesus together. We hope you'll join us for one of our events and see for yourself all that Church on the Hill has to offer.

Outreach

The youth group do a beach cleaning. Through our outreach ministry, we offer a variety of programs and activities that are designed to address the needs of those in our community and beyond. We believe that by serving others, we can make a difference in the world and bring a little bit of God's love and hope to those who need it most.

Support

Souper Bowl Sunday at Church on the Hill. We believe that it is our calling as a church to provide support and care for those who are facing challenges or struggles. Whether it's through our member and friends care ministry, pastoral visits, or one-on-one support, we are here to offer help and encouragement to those who need it.
